Mannheim Steamroller Celebrates 40 Years of Holiday Music
Chip Davis, the founder of Mannheim Steamroller, is set to commemorate the band's 40th anniversary with its annual Christmas tour in 2025, marking the longest-running concert series in the entertainment sector. The tour will kick off on November 11 and continue until December 30, featuring two traveling ensembles performing across various cities in the United States.
Presale tickets will be available starting July 23, with general sales beginning on July 25 at 10 am local time. Reflecting on the journey since the release of his first Christmas album in 1984, Davis expressed gratitude to fans for incorporating their music into holiday traditions, noting the frequent attendance of multi-generational families at their concerts.
Mannheim Steamroller, under Davis's American Gramophone label, has achieved remarkable success, selling over 41 million albums, including more than 31.5 million in the Christmas genre. Their holiday albums have become a staple of the season, consistently ranking high on Billboard?s Seasonal Chart. The upcoming tour promises to deliver the unique Mannheim sound with beloved Christmas classics.
